Merlin & Colonial Valley
Christmas light installation in Merlin
Merlin homes sit on bigger lots, with tall firs, gravel drives, and rooflines that are anything but cookie-cutter. We install soft white commercial-grade lights with removable clips — no nails, no screws — and in January we take it all down and leave the lights in a storage box in your garage. They're yours.
Local installs, local route
We're based in Grants Pass, about fifteen minutes from Merlin down the Merlin Road corridor. Because we route by neighborhood, Merlin and Colonial Valley jobs often land on the same days — which keeps our pricing flat and lets us offer a neighbor discount when several homes on a street book together.
What we see out here: long single-story fronts that look great with a clean gutter line, older roofs where fasteners would be a bad idea, and the occasional steep gable that needs an experienced footing. One of us has spent years on Rogue Valley roofs, so ladder placement and pitch aren't an experiment.
Rural access, no drama
Long driveways, gates, dogs, and shop buildings are normal for us. When you text, include any gate code or access notes. We'll bring the ladder standoff and clips and take care of the rest.
Flat pricing in Merlin
Every package includes soft white lights, clips, a timer, January takedown, and a storage box you keep. Already have lights? We'll hang them from $249. Add gutter cleaning for $129 while we're there.
Merlin questions
Do you install in Colonial Valley and Three Pines too?
Yes — both are on the same route as Merlin. Text the address and we'll confirm the price the same way.
My roof is older — are clips really safe?
Clips are far gentler than nails or staples, and we inspect the roofline before we start. If a section looks too brittle to clip safely, we'll tell you before installing rather than after.
Can you hang lights on a shop or barn?
Usually, yes. Send a photo and the address. We'll give you one flat price for the custom roofline.
